Social Media Coordinator


Lumion is looking for a passionate Social Media Coordinator to engage and grow our online community of visualization enthusiasts and architecture professionals. Your role:

As a Social Media coordinator, you will be the voice of Lumion across social channels. Your mission is to increase our share of voice and promote a positive sentiment towards our product, brand and industry. In this role you will proactively engage with Lumion users and enthusiasts across the globe, by posting and curating content, monitoring conversations, interacting with the wider community, and capturing feedback through social media channels.

What will you be doing:

  •  Manage our brand presence on all social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Twitter)

  • Maintain a social media content calendar and work with the wider content team to ensure social assets are delivered and published on time

  • Regularly publish content on relevant social channels, monitor performance and suggest improvements

  • Actively engage with our online community on social media by interacting and responding to comments, tagged posts and direct messages

  • Contribute with content ideas and propose initiatives to boost community engagement

  • Actively promote and monitor user generated content. Regularly curate user generated content to promote on our own channels

  • Monitor activity on Lumion communities and social media groups and step in as the community manager when needed

  • Actively monitor competitor activity on social media, perform benchmarks and share your learnings with the wider team

  • Maintain and enrich the social media guidelines and response policy together with the customer care and support teams

  • Monitor and analyze our social media performance on an ongoing basis, propose optimizations and share learnings and user feedback

  • Explore growth opportunities on existing and new social media channels

What you’ll need:

  • A BA degree in a related field (marketing, media, communication or architecture)

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar social media or communications role

  • Deep understanding of how social media channels work and how to best utilize them

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to adapt to different types of audiences

  • Self-driven with strong social and conflict resolution skills and a positive attitude

  • Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of and interest in rendering, our product and the architectural market is an advantage

  • An interest in learning about our product, company and industry.

  • Fluency in English, with a flair for writing

  • Preferably based in the Netherlands (Randstad area: Rotterdam-Den Haag-Amsterdam), or within a European time zone
